The International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) is a premier, league style franchise based competition that is owned by Mahesh Bhupathi. It was launched in November 2014 and consists of four franchises – Manila, Singapore, Dubai, and India.

The Channel 2 Group had entered into a partnership with cricket veteran Sunil Gavaskar, Kishan Gehlot - chairman of Intex Group and Shashi Shetty, chairman of the Avvashya Group to acquire a stake in the Singapore team in 2014.

Tennis stars like Andre Agassi, Lleyton Hewitt, Serena Willimas, Thomas Berdych, Bruno Soares, Patrick Rafter, Daniela Hantuchova, and Nick Krygios have front lined the “Singapore Slammer”.

Existing Partnership
Global audio broadcast rights (analogue and digital) and live video clip (digital) rights and data rights for ICC live events till 2023 (including ODI and T20 World Cups).

Audio rights from other cricketing boards for major events (e.g.- Asia Cup).

10 year collaboration with IMG (UK) to harvest sports content covering cricket, soccer, tennis, golf, rugby, and major events like Wimbledon, US Open, EPL Champion League.

Radio wave connect
Radio spends (analog and digital) are currently estimated at Dh 300 million in UAE alone. But with a growth rate of 20% to 30% annually, it is expected to reach Dh 500 million in a couple of years.

With global partnerships that have been built on the association of audio rights for over a decade, Channel 2 is planning to reach out to users across India, South East Asia, Middle East, UK, Australia, South Africa, Caribbean, Europe for cricket, and China for football.

Channel 2 Group has sub licensing rights from Talksport, the world’s largest sports radio station and global audio partner of the Premier League, to broadcast live commentary and highlights of premier league matches in multiple languages. With a reach of 3.4 million unique users every month, Channel 2 Group has a mass reach to all those countries who follow football like a religion.
